Right lets get on with it

Open a new image 400x400 with a white background and add a new layer.

To this new layer add the tube you wish to use for your background and position to where you

need it to be. Merge all flatten............

Duplicate this layer. (Right click the background layer in your layer palette click duplicate)

THIS IS WHERE THE SKETCH EFFECT HAPPENS

 

With this duplicate layer active click on Colours/Negative Image.

Now click on Colours/Grey Scale.

Now click on Colours/Increase Colour Depth/16 million colours

Change the blend mode to dodge at this point the image goes completely white

Add a Gaussian Blur of about 2.5

Merge all flatten

That is the background done.

Add a new layer, Add and postion your foreground tube, add the drop shadow

merge all flatten

Resize if you need to and remember to sharpen

Add a new layer, Add text

That's it we're done
